Sony NPM - the next generation of games

Sony NPM (Next-generation portable), in other words Sony PSP2, is almost here. Sony made the announcement on the newest portable gaming device, but it will take a few months for users to get a chance to play with him. There are many rumours and speculations about this device and it was a good move by Sony to make the announcement as soon as possible.

To summarize, the new device runs on incredible processor quad-core with a five inch, screen resolution 960 x 544 with screen touch capability. It displays 16 million colors, and it has two cameras (front and rear), two speakers and a microphone. In addition, the graphics of the aircraft are supported by a powerful PowerVR graphics processor. According to the announcements made by Sony, that device should have five to six hours of battery life.

There were a strong criticism for earlier versions of the PSP. Earlier versions were not two analog sticks, was rather a stick. The new version is now equipped with two analog sticks, so players can do a lot of movements with their game character. When it comes to character movements, it is not only the analog sticks that can be used. The touch screen supports multi-touch, the user can perform manipulations advanced through actions in the game. In addition, the rear console game is touch, which means that users can use the fingers holding the device for the manipulation of nature. It is one of the most fascinating characteristics of new Sony NPM and it adds a new dimension to mobile gaming consoles.

The new NPM Sony also comes with GPS location awareness. This allows users to connect with adjacent to play games Sony NPM game consoles. In addition, it is also equipped with an electronic compass, accelerometer and gyroscope. This means, these add more control on the device as well as what we mentioned at the beginning of this review. These technical improvements to Sony NPM also encourage game developers to think differently and create advances and more entertaining games.

The physical design of the device is quite convincing and it looks clearly like design inherited from the PSP. Although the design is clean and crisp, some users may find little bulky.

In terms of connectivity, Sony NPM support 3 G and Wi - Fi. This allows users to download games by Sony Play Station network and connect with other devices, including Sony NPM.
